And what books of the Bible are most important for understanding great works of literature, such as Milton’s Paradise Lost etc.?

Supposidly great, I had to read it for school. My mom read it with me. both of us though it was really terrible.
and repeditive, 30 pages of shit were usually summed up at the end of the chapter in a paragraph or less…
and Narnia, those books had very strong referances to stories from the Bible.
