Go Wireless with Wireless Laptop Speakers

Anyone who has stumbled across the room with a hot cup of coffee will be aware how dangerous it is to have wires that are not tucked away. It is easy to be careful at first, but as you move things around, it is not difficult for them to become a hazard. It also makes the room look untidy, and one way you can eliminate both of these problems is to invest in wireless laptop speakers.

This is not a new product, but the choice is not as great as for other types of speaker. Small USB ones seem more popular, but wireless does have a number of advantages. Sound level is unfortunately not one of them, as although better than built in they are not as loud as other external speakers are. They can be placed wherever you want them, so you do not have to worry about not moving the laptop too much in case you dislodge them.

Even though a lot of brands are good quality and aesthetically pleasing, you don’t always want things to be on show, or close to the hands of small children who are attracted to them. Pets as well like to be close to you, and no matter how well made the speakers are it will not look good covered in cat hair. They vary in price but can be under $100 for a decent quality set, and go up to over $500 for top of the range.

As with most things, you get what you pay for, and as this technology is fairly new, the good models are still expensive. Unless you are a technology addict, and are normally the first person to try a product and review it for others, it may be best to wait until they become more popular and the price of the top brands comes down. The only downside with some is that they have the control buttons on the device and if used from a Bluetooth enabled device you need to get up and alter it.

The inclusion of a remote control would help, but for something, so basic it may be a remote too far. If you are choosing wireless laptop speakers, you are quite likely looking for a way to tidy up your equipment, not add to it. Bose speakers are receiving good reviews, and are clearly very popular, as a number of sites that sell these speakers are showing them as being out of stock. Either the manufacturers are looking for exclusivity or the enthusiasts are snapping them up.

Some cost as much as $500 so that may be a turn off for some, and there only limited number produced. In contrast to Bose, there is a much more affordable pair, the Veho VSS 002W. At around $80 they are priced to go, and while clearly not the quality of more expensive names they do have a range of 50m.Just showing both ends of the range wireless laptop speakers, there is plenty of choice in between.
