Connecting two computers to use hotel wifi?
I have a win 7 laptop that can connect wifi but I’m also bringing along a winxp laptop that can only connect with ethernet. Is there a step-by-step guide somewhere that will help me use a ethernet cord to use the wifi from win7 laptop to get internet on the the winxp laptop?
Please don’t mention routers because I will be at a hotel so that’s not an option like at home. 
I don’t have a guide, or a site you can reference, but its pretty easy to do. On the Win7 laptop, go to Control Panel > Network. Right click your WLAN connection and go to Properties. Turn on Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). Now, the wireless connection will be shared to any devices that are connected to it. Use a crossover cable to connect the two laptops together, and bingo, internet access on both devices.
