The different types of Mouse explored

A computer mouse is a human interface device that operates by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its surface. It consists of an object carried out under the user's hand with several buttons. The computer mouse also has other elements, eg wheels allows the user to perform various system-dependent. Optical Mouse: An optical mouse uses a light emitting diode and photodiodes for the detection of movement in relation to the underlying surface, rather than internal moving parts like a mechanical mouse.

gyroscopic mice: A gyroscopic mouse uses a tuning fork or other accelerometer to detect the rotational movement of support for each axis. The most common models (manufactured by Gyration Logitech) work with two degrees of freedom of rotation and are insensitive to spatial translation. The user requires only small rotations of the wrist to move the cursor, which reduces user fatigue.

3D Mice: These devices tend to work through ultrasound and provide at least three degrees of freedom.
