How do i use my web cam during a chat on Yahoo Messenger?
I bought a web cam the other day Creative VF-0250 its compatible with yahoo and all other major sites. When im chatting with someone on the chat the little web cam symbol on the bottom right side (you cant click on it). Or do i go to “Actions” at the top of the main Yahoo Messenger screen and click on “invite to view my web cam”
I have noticed that this is the case when your contact in your contact list is not a Yahoo! ID but for instance a Hotmail ID. When you click on contacts that are not Yahoo! ID’s then you have a limited way of using your Yahoo! IM window. If your contacts are Yahoo! ID’s, then you should be able to click on the little camera icon to the lower right as you described. Did you try to use your camera with any other Messenger ( AIM or Hotmail etc…) ? Did your camera work at all before? Make sure your camera is also really connected. Check the cables. Let me know what happened.
