recovery disks for my toshiba satellite laptop work on different model of toshiba satellite laptop?
I made 5 recovery disks for my toshiba satellite laptop. I just bought another toshiba satellite but a different model. Will the disks work on my new laptop too or do I have to create new recovery disks?
They will work but they will have some incorrect information on them so if you have a new laptop then burn the discs for that laptop then you will have all the right info on those discs
write on the label the serial number for the Toshiba which the discs belong to then you know which is which
I have done this for all seven of the Toshiba laptops I run. and That way I know which discs are for which laptop
