I need an adapter to connect my Samsung Alias to my computer?
the port on the phone looks like a USB but its flatter and smaller, what is this called? is it a mini usb? or something else?
It is just called a usb data cable. In your case if you have the older original Alias (Samsung U740) then it would be U740 usb data cable. If you have the Alias 2 then it would be Alias 2 usb data cable. You can find one on amazon for fairly cheap price.
