what are pokemon cards?
My 8 yr. old son collects Pokemon cards. I sort of know what they are but not sure if he really knows what they are. He plays some game with them, but I bought him a notebook with sleeves to keep them in bcz I wasn’t sure if they were for collecting and trading or playing a game with. So what are the Pokemon cards made for? Is it important to keep them in good condition (which would mean for my son, not touching them since he is pretty rough with his stuff).
Well it’s really a combination of collecting, trading, and playing a game. You collect the cards and trade them with friends to get the cards you want or need, then you can also play a game with them. I used to have them when I was younger. I don’t think they are worth quite as much anymore, so if he really likes to play the game then I wouldn’t worry too much. You can search on ebay and find about how much they are worth. There is a TV show and a game that Nintendo has that goes with the cards. It’s all the same thing.
