so i have 3 questions about movies…please help me with it if u know it
1-in 1993 we all saw the Amazing Movie (What’s love Got To Do With it)the story of Tina Turner…the rule been playing by Angella Bassett and Of course she was Nominated for an oscar…..my question is WHT SHE DIDN’T WON THE OSCAR….the oscar prize must go to her…cuz she showed amazing act and showed us a story of a reall person
2-In 2003 we all saw the 2 movies (CHICAGO-THE Hours) and both Renne Zellweger nd Nicole Kidman Nominated For Oscar……Renne’s Act is 1000000000 better than Nicole
Why Nicole Kidman Won The Oscar….she was in the movie for like half an hour
3-in 1985 One of the most Amazing Movies (The Color Purple)..that Awesome movie has been nominated for 11 oscar…….i wanna know why that movie didnt Won any oscar

Okay I saw both movies, and talking about the acting, I think Nicole’s is way better (though I think Reneé is good too) but the character also counts. Nicole had to do a very much deepper interpretation, a transformation, and not only on the nose (wich prove that she didn’t won by her beauty), but on her the voice, on her handwritting, all…
Reneé’s character was too much superficial…though she had to sing and dance, her character was empty, didn’t have an history… how can I say it… it only was what you see and nothing more, it almost didn’t have personality, so she couldn’t show great emotions.
And the thing about the half an hour is true, but she still is considered the leading role, ’cause was Virginia the one who get the story together, she is the bridge between the others two character.
That’s my opinion, I think Nicole deserved that Oscar more than anyone…
I would question the Oscar of the previous year.
