Purple Laptop Case
Is my toe broken?
Almost 2 weeks ago, I was on the airplane and either jammed my toe on the aisle or dropped my laptop case on it ( I can’t remember). It hurts sometimes when I touch it, but I can’t tell if it’s the skin that hurts or the bone. It is swollen, but my feet are really skinny, and my baby toe is very small. So I dont know if it is just bruised and there isn’t enough blood for it to be purple.. or if i actually broke it.
Problem is I have military insurance (I can only see doctors on base) and I am on vacation visiting my parents and there is no base around here.. so im hopeing it’s not broken
I have broken both my big toes twice each and a couple of my other toes on other occasions too (I do a lot of blading!). Don’t worry about it, it’ll line itself up if it is broken and if it’s not you’ll have saved yourself a LOT of time and effort.
One way to check (if it’s not too sore) is to pull the healthy toe on your other foot up, then pull your bad one up and if it doesn’t follow the same line or “crunches”, you know it’s broken.
