Why do the pictures on my screen look different when printed, or viewed on another screen?? How to fix?
Hello. I have installed Adobe Photoshop CS2 on my laptop and used it to edit my digital photos. After trying to print and then try to see on other screens i seen that there are anything like (the colors are all different). So there is no point edit the photos to look good, because when I put them on Flickr or try to print, which will be completely different from other people when they try to see on Flickr?? I'm going to Japan as an exchange student in 3 weeks for a year and am taking my laptop and my Nikon D40 … I was thinking about taking a lot of good photos and edit them … but if you look completely different is there any point in trying to change while I'm there?? My baggage allowance is 20 kg in one bag ,…. so it is not very easy to buy an external monitor and take me and my family might not have room in your car when I pick? Any suggest. or ideas to help. Thanks
Sounds like you need to get the color of your monitor calibration. Although one can expect a different look when posted on a website in RGB to CMYK are printed on – both have different ranges of color.
