Notebook Netbook Carry
Should i get a netbook or a laptop?
recently, my hp notebook has sputtered down, and is begin its dying process (wtf lol).
Im currently a student in college, and im running a little low on cash, my job is there, but still things to buy, etc. I tried to ask my parents they said no, im not sure why but okkkk.
so, i was thinking about buying a netbook for 2 main things; 1, taking notes in class, and 2 going on the internet for youtube, facebook, and other things.
I heard they can play wow, i wouldnt chance it though. But maybe i would play a game, like maple story.
So the idea of a netbook was just to hold as a temporary till i get some more money and i can buy a regular laptop. (probably looking at 6 months). I was thinking about customizing one, because the stores carry some, but not with the specs i want, and if i buy a laptop, i spend a lot to keep it running for a while (i5, 500gb hdd, 6gb ram, etc.)
so for a few months, would a netbook be a good replacement? thanks
For just a little more or the same price buy a laptop or a refurb laptop. Remember a netbook does not have a DVD or CD, the only way you can get programs is to download or USB from a flash drive. If you want a DVD for your netbook an external will cost you about $75. A netbook is also limited in what games you can play on it due to min. RAM in it.
