Notebook Computer Carrying
I just purchased a notebook computer and I was just wondering what type of Internet should I get? DSL or Cable
I see people carrying their computers with them, does the internet still work when there is no modem nearby?
Well it depends on how fast u want it to go. And if u prefer a wireless card or not. I do fine with DSL, but it has a wireless router so i can use my laptop too. And apparently cable has 3 in 1; Phone, internet, and CableTV. As for the other question about internet working without a modem nearby. Some laptops such as anything PC has to have a wireless internet socket and card to get wireless internet, u can usually get a signal at the airport, or fast food places or wherever anyone has a wireless internet router.
If u went with a Mac, u wouldn’t have to get a wireless card for extra, it is built in the cpu, and it can search for different servers. Some have password protected access but alot are free internet access. And it scans for different servers.
