Sony Vaio Vgn-FE660G HELP!!?
i have a sony vaio vgn -fe660g. I have had it for 3 years and the warranty has expired. recently for some reason or another lines have been popping up on my computer screen. it is not cracked, just visual lines. should i replace the screen for $100 or acquire a new computer, like the msi wind, or the aspire 1? i only have a $400 dollar budget, and i need a computer for school.
what you can do is connect your sony to an external monitor that would be the cheapest solution. You can also determine whether it’s a problem with monitor or the video card. Either way you had 3 yrs use of this computer it’s cheaper for you to replace it with a newer one besides they’re way faster now not worth trying to repair notebooks that cost more to service.
