Can I upgrade a Dell Latitude Cpi (with a late PII CPU) to a early Pentium III CPU?
Will the motherboard support it? It is the “Dixon”. I want to upgrade it to the “Katami”
Seeing that the Dell Latitude series is a laptop it is not really recommended to change the processor of a laptop. In the event that you know what you are doing, you need to check with the motherboard’s specs to make sure that the motherboard supports the processor that you plan to upgrade to.
Even though the processor might physically fit, you need to keep in mind heat issues as well.
