laptop upgrading help?
i own an old compaq Evo N600c laptop with pentium III processor and i was wondering whether i could upgrade the graphics card and the hard drive. do any websites exsist where i could learn to do this. is it even possible
Nothing you can do to upgrade the graphics card as it’s built on the motherboard and you don’t have expansion slots like a desktop. The hard drive is a different matter, once you’ve found it take it out and go to your local PC store where they can advise you on a replacement. You would of course need to install Windows and all your applications on the new drive and none of your data will be there unless you save it to some other media before you start. It is not possible to have 2 hard drives in a laptop. You could however fit an external hard drive as a second drive.
