COMMENTARY | If you’ve traveled much in Europe or Japan, you’ve probably experienced high-speed rail. Train stations are located in city centers so there’s no trip to the airport or waiting to pass through security. Once on board you can immediately work on your laptop or walk down to the dining car to buy an overpriced drink, all with the countryside flying past at almost 200 mph.
