Laptop Memory
Recently upgraded laptop memory from 512MB to 1.5GB but still processor and HD gets very hot?
My Laptop is Sony Vaio VGN-BX196vp. The processor fan goes running on high speed and processor and hard disk becomes extremely hot and the LCD screen goes black when watching online video using IE or Mozilla. Although the screen goes black I can hear the sound of video and I have to restart the laptop to get it normal.Any suggestion to overcome this will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
RAM is seriously not going help the heat issue lol…
Your heatsink probably has major dust build up…
or it is just plain cheap…
Clean it out, and get a cooling pad…
don’t let your laptop just sit on a desk when using it, have the back lifted a little higher with a laptop stand to let the fans work.
call Sony and complain like said earlier.
