Laptop Centrino Duo
Can a Intel Centrino Duo Laptop do 64bit?
I’m thinking of going 64bit with Linux on my Laptop, which is a Lenovo 3000 N100. I was wondering, can I run a 64bit OS, as the CPU is dual-core?
I asked my computer store tech guys, and they said yes, but I wasn’t too sure. Can someone help me with this?

If your hardware supports it then yes you should be fine. I know with windows there are different drivers for 64 and 32 bit though. There’s more to it than just installing a 64bit OS. Just make sure everything you have supports 64 bit before you buy the OS and you should be fine.
