Drive Module

Connecting internal floppy drive as an external floppy drive?
How do I go about connecting an internal floppy drive I bought for my notebook as an external floppy drive?
I accidentally bought an internal floppy drive for my Dell Latitude D820.
It will connect and recognize the floppy drive but I cannot connect a power to the floppy drive.
There’s a slot in the back(I think for power coupling) but I don’t know what kind of connector cable I need or if there’s any available?
I think all I need is a power adapter cord of some type but don’t know what kind or where to get it. Would Radio Shack have it?
It’s a standard Dell Floppy Drive Module 5V 0.5A 3.5 inch
Can anyone help me?
First off is it internal for a notebook? if so and you ahve what’s called a modular bay you should be able to swap it. There is either a switch on the bottom of your system (similar to the ones to eject your battery) or a button (not the cd eject button) that you push in the becomes like a little handle to pull the cd drive out. If you have neither of those then you need to contact Dell for at conector.
If it’s one for a desktop, I’ve not seen or heard of any adapters for that.
