Dell Inspiron Mini
How is performance of Dell Inspiron Mini Laptop?

I’m considering buying a Dell Inspiron Mini 9. Has anyone had personal experience with one? And if so, how does it work? Are they worth buying? How big are they in size (in comparison to any other item)?

I thought the same questions when I bought mine. I bought mine when they first came out in October. I was concerned that I would not get use to the screen or keyboard. I even bought it just as a “back up” to my other laptop for school work. After all of these questions running through my mind, I finally buckled down and bought it. Since then, I have loved it! I never even use my large laptop anymore besides holding itunes on it. I was concerned I would not be able to write papers on this screen, but it has not bothered me one bit. I even made a large excel spreadsheet on it. I only had 2Gs worth of music, photos, and documents on my old computer after almost 4 years so the small hard drives of these do not bother me at all. The computer is so light that I barely notice it in my bag with school books while walking around campus either. In comparison to another item… I usually say they are about 3 iPhones put side to side but thicker. The keyboard with the ” ‘ ” key being located next to the spacebar took a few weeks to get the handle of but I barely even notice now. I really have no complaints about this computer. I always get looks at school because it is so tiny but my friends always say how they would like to get one too because it is so convenient. I do not think Ill ever pay over $500 for another computer after how much this thing can do for the price.
