How to remove fan blade CPU Heatsink?

My computer’s heatsink which is a LGA775 is dirty and is difficult to clean with the thing that holds the fan blades to clean the centre and I have no idea how to take it off. How can I take it off without damaging the fan?

It’s best not to remove it as you will have a very hard time getting it to work again.

Go to your local best buy or office depot and buy a can of compressed air. Shut your computer down and open up the case. Hold the can upright making sure that it is air coming out and not freezing(happens if you hold it upside down) then spray it on the fan and it should be clean as new.
