Carrying Brief Case
Does anyone know a kids book about Harlem?
It involved running shoes, a white kid, and this other kid in the book (it was a girl I think, it might have been a boy) that carried her/his books to school in a brief case. I think there was an eating contest.
I read it in like fourth grade.
