Carry Soft Briefcase
Do ladies carry a purse with their briefcase?
I have an interview tomorrow and I am using an attache (like a briefcase, only it has a soft exterior) for the first time. What I need to know, preferably from some professional ladies, is whether you put the contents of your purse (wallet, phone, mints, lotion, etc.) into the briefcase, or whether you carry the purse separately. I don’t want to carry more than I have to, but I am worried that it will look unprofessional if I open the attache to retrieve a copy of my resume and my Tic-Tacs tumble out. Ideas?
Funny, I’m 24 years old but thanks for thinking I’m younger! I got the briefcase as a gift when I graduated law school. I’ve had three law-related jobs before, but got those on the strength of professional recommendations and never had to go through the interview process before, hence my question.
if you already have a briefcase i don’t suggest you to have a purse you will have too many things on your hand. but if you do have a purse leave it in the car where no one sees it and only have in your briefcase your wallet and important things like that.
