Characteristics of Black Men that White Women Love
Relationships work because couples do not think of themselves in terms of the skin or eye political or religious beliefs, or the educational attainment of the other. Relationships last because couples have found in each other character traits that are desirable and to be adored. Relationships work because it has been built around and with much love and admiration. The lingering question, however, is that more and more obviously different persons fall in love with each other and establish long-term healthy relationships. Inter-racial marriages, for example, between blacks and whites have become very common. Of course, this is just a sign that society has advanced and left behind an ugly past of racial discrimination and, consequently tensions.
It comes as no wonder that in this time and age white women are falling head over heels in love with black men. It comes as no wonder too how come more and more black men are being married off to white women; and this with much acceptance from both sides of the fence; this, without discrimination; this, with lots of respect and reverence. The question that continuous to linger, however, is why do white women like black men. Interestingly, even the white men are raising such question.
Nevertheless, here are some of the qualities of great black men that could be behind the increase in pairings of white women with black men. Look these traits up in one’s partner:
1. Colored men know what their priorities in life should be and are. Furthermore, black men make sure that their lives are lived according to these priorities.
White women love it when men know what it is that make their lives go around. White women believe that this is a sign that one is sure of himself and his future.
2. Men in color are known to be tough-looking but are said to have soft hearts and are quite tender. Black men make sure that women, children, old people and even persons with disabilities are treated with much tenderness.
White women know that a man who has a soft spot for all kinds of people will make for a great partner in life. White women also know that men who are tender know how to make sweet love with their beloved and are romantics.
3. Black men know how to honor and respect women. Black men make certain that women are treated with much reverence, not as objects or one that is to be defiled.
White women are all for respect and being honored. White women know that black men possess this amazing characteristic so it comes as no surprise if a white woman falls in love with a black man. He knows how to respect and honor her; that’s about it.
4. Colored men are said to be activists. Black men know their rights and obligations to the world, thus, make certain that their talents and skills contribute to its betterment beginning with much volunteer works and some charitable causes.
This is one trait that white women adore because it is one that shows how much a person cares for the well-being of others. Black men are endowed with this trait, thus, white women are smitten with black men.
5. Men who are black are honest and decent. White women know that if a black man is chosen for a mate, it is for life. This is because black men do not know how to cheat or become indecent toward other women other than their spouses.
It must be pointed out though that cultural factor is at play when it comes to understanding the bases behind inter-racial marriages and romantic relationships. A black man from Africa or from other parts of the world may not be culturally compatible with an American woman. In fact, even if such a woman is herself black, the cultural incompatibility may be too glaring to deny that she may still not find it mutually beneficial to have a romantic relationship from a guy from Africa. Despite some outstanding characteristics that white women may like from African American males, the fact that they actually share a common culture certainly makes bonding a lot easier. Therefore, white women would think that the only major difference really is in the color of the skin. Genuine love, however, is not just skin deep, which is why race is actually a very minor issue that can easily be overcome when two people have fallen for each other.
Why do white women like black men? It is true that black men can be more sensitive than their white counterparts. The reason behind this is probably based on the fact that for many years the blacks bear the identity of being the minority. In American society, there is an existing although constantly denied notion that the minorities are inferior to the whites. Fortunately, this is no longer as strong as it was before the civil rights movement won significant victories. To a certain extent, the black man has developed sympathy for those whom they think are also considered inferiors. However, there are some who oppressed women to vent out their ire of their own oppression. Nevertheless, in a male-dominated society, the women are considered as inferiors. Therefore, black men can easily sympathize and be sensitive to the needs of the white women. Their sensitivity to the demands of the white women may be considered as one critical difference.
This does not mean that white men do not have the capabilities of making women, black, white, or any other race, to fall in love with them. It is a fact that there are also an increasing number of white men who have romantic relationships with black women. Such relationships have also reached levels of marriage. Black women who fell in love with such men surely have their reasons. They also find something likable in black men. Again, this is not impossible in a society with a common culture that envelops everyone, regardless of their racial origins. One thing is certain though: these inter-racial romantic relationships and marriages are good signs that society has overcome problems with racial prejudice.
