Can the phone samsung omnia be trace after unlocking it?
My mom bought the phone samsung omnia around November, then she lost her bag and she thought the phone was inside. So she called Vodafone and told them what happened. They told her that they’re gonna lock the phone so that no one can use it and that they’re going to send a new phone to replace her previous one. When she got home later on that night she saw her omnia phone on the table but now it isn’t working because it has been lock. So she put it aside. I asked her for it and she told me that i have to unlock it but if i do that the phone might get trace by the provider and we might get in to trouble.
I wanna know if they can still trace it after I unlock it. I haven’t unlock it though, I waited a few months just to make sure. Can anyone tell me? Thanks
Even if you have it unlocked,they can still trace the phone.They use the IMEI number inside the phone to do tracing.How about changing carrier? Well im not sure,but the original carrier still have the ability to,with the help of their counter fellow despite that the fact they re compete each other in the bussiness.
